Naira Diptee is a freshman undergraduate student majoring in Studio Art at Florida State University. Growing up in a military family, she has lived in Jacksonville and Tallahassee, Florida, the Caribbean, as well as Virginia and most recently Washington State. Her most notable accomplishments include creating the winning poster for the organization Citizens Against Domestic and Sexual Abuse in 2015 as well as being an honorable recipient of the Wendy Jackson Hall Memorial Scholarship, a $10,000 art based reward.
Naira was an active member and leader of Oak Harbor High School's art and drama club. In addition, she volunteered in Oak Harbor, Washington's drama community working lights and sounds for several live performances. Enthusiastic about science, Naira was a member of Island County's Astronomical Society on Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, Washington.
